I decided against going eagle-watching today because I’ve got plenty of things to do. It kinda sucks when you’re on exchange and bounded by principles and a sense of responsibility you just got to finish things at hand to a reasonable standard before thinking of recreation. I’m that kinda person who can’t bear to see myself do a shoddy job just because I can afford to (S/U grading). However, I try to remind myself from time to time that I can actually take it easy here and not try too hard. Think I better start organizing my time properly so I can have a better mix of recreation, travel and study.
Anyway, I had a fun night playing cards with 2 SMU and 1 NUS friends whom I met for the first time (we got to know each other over MSN first) at their place in Gage. They’re quite a fun bunch of people to hang out with… Although it’s a bit of a walk over to Gage, but hey it’s good exercise. I expected to lose weight here at first because I thought I won’t be used to the food here, but it turned out that I’m putting on weight because I’ve not been exercising and sweating enough.
