If there is one right answer, then we wouldn't be seeing different judicial systems around the world implementing different punishments. My personal opinion is that fairly convicted murderers and rapists ought to get a taste of their own medicine. Of course I understand there are those who commit violent crimes because of extenuating circumstances... then there should be some exceptions “For the murderers’ and rapists’ diabolic doings, does another group of people, or society as a whole, has the right to take away their freedom, condemn their right to live etc.”

I suppose the argument can go either way… nothing wrong with either point of view… depends on how one argues it. If there is one right answer, then we wouldn’t be seeing different judicial systems around the world implementing different punishments.
