Once we bought the "affordable" half-a-million dollar concrete "unit", we have already pawned our lives. The 8% of HDB "owners" who are currently in arrears over their flats (even during good times) are in the process of being buried alive. No need to go to Lim Chu Kang to be near a cemtery. Building costs ain't high in the first place. It's the INFLATED land price the government is charging.
