It's My Life

Tough luck

The exams are finally over! And just one day later here I am preparing to start work on my final year project again. Haven’t had enough time to rest yet, but no choice, I have work to clear.

Things haven’t been going very well for me these days. Ain’t nothing serious, but just a lot of small problems. Like I’ve got a sprained neck or something that gives a popping sound everytime I tilt my head to the side. And some problems with my final year project. And I learnt that I might be suffering from COPD rather than asthma. And, yeah, I received word that I didn’t get the job one month after going for the interview. In such times of economic uncertainty, my future seems bleak. What’s the point of scoring a first class honors degree when there aren’t any decent jobs around. Yup, I’m pretty skeptical about it but guess I have no choice besides continuing to try my best.

And I’ve got a holiday coming up next weekend in Bangkok but I don’t know if we’ll be able to go because of the stupid ongoing protests. Even if they reopen the airport soon, I’m not sure if I still want to go because I am concerned about the state of repair of the airport systems and equipment. Sad, especially since I’ve been looking forward to this trip for a long time and I managed to snag a 5 star hotel stay at a ridiculous price. Now I’m hoping that the airport remains closed by next weekend so I can get a refund or a last minute change to another destination. In the event that the airport is reopened by then, wish me luck =/.

Well of course as usual I must still say that I still have many blessings to count, just that sometimes when all the little problems build up it can be quite frustrating.
